Over the course of the last three years I’ve worked on and off with Karina. Originally when we started I was an amateur bjj competitor and looking to lean out and make weight. We achieved that goal easily with Karinas knowledge, and Care as a trainer. Fast forward a little under 2 years later and I reached out to Karina looking to change my relationship with food and exercise. I had let myself go and was 194lbs. Present day I’m 170 and am the strongest and leanest I’ve ever been. This was because of two things. My dedication to myself, and Karina’s dedication to me. She always goes above and beyond. From check in’s to pep talks.. to her thorough nutrition knowledge and her beneficial yet painfully difficult work outs. I feel really lucky to have Karina as a friend, mentor and coach. Karina is the absolute best trainor out there! Even when teaching a group class she ensures she knows your name, even if it’s your first day. She’ll ask and understand your goals and push your workouts to achieve those goals. She wants everyone to do their best and focuses on coaching individuals to compete with themselves only. You can often hear her yelling things like “remember your why!” - this always helps me maintain my focus on why I’m there. She promotes healthy bodies and healthy minds, and promotes increasing strength. There is never talk about getting skinny or burning more calories. It’s always about progressing your training and performance. There’s several reasons why I train, yes it would be great to lose weight, but with Karina she always has me thinking about how I can become stronger and healthier so that I can be the best mom possible for my kids. I honestly look forward to my workouts with Karina coaching. Karina’s coaching all started with an in depth consultation around goals. She asks “what’s your why?” 
I realized my biggest setback to my growth was my close minded approach to health and fitness. She dug into me and inspired me to have more realistic, sustainable goals, and had me thinking of things I never thought could be possible for myself.
This was the biggest impact on my progress as everything starts with a healthy mindset and clear vision. 
We continued by building a strong foundation around training and doing dynamic exercises that I had never done before. We built and expanded my strengths, and really narrowed in on my areas of discomfort. No training day is an easy day, in a good way.
The knowledge I have gained from her coaching and meal planning has allowed me to live an enjoyable active life while still eating delicious food. Yes, I eat carbs, multiple times a day and have lost 40lbs. 
I wake up confident and energized. I have increased strength, flexibility, and endurance. I crave the challenging things I used to avoid. I have learned a lot about myself and that my barriers were all in my mind.
